HISTORY:

avery was raised in an average wizarding home, both her parents born with the gift of magic. her parents met at the ministry, where they both worked and married while sadie was pregnant with their baby, and a short three months later avery was born. sadie stayed home to mother her child, things were normal, time passed, angus worked, avery grew. when she was still a young girl, about at the age of eight or nine or so, her mother grew restless. she started work at the ministry again, but soon caught the eye of a younger muggle, and started to see the man regularly. and it wasn't too soon later that she ran off with him. packed a few of her things and was gone. avery saw her leave with him. in the shock of it all, in the pain of her mother abandoning her, she told herself that the muggle had stolen her, had taken her mum away from her. she tricked herself into believing this, to deny the fact that her mother didn't love her enough to stay.

when she was eleven, she got her acceptance letter to hogwarts, as was expected. her father took her to diagon alley, got her her things, and when it was time to board the hogwarts express, she kissed his cheek and climbed onto the train calmly. she was sorted into hufflepuff, which seemed a little odd for her but it was her father's house, so she supposed that was why. she made some relationships at school, but she was rather indifferent to all, none of them went very far. maybe a smile and a few vague comments, that was all most got out of her. she got by in her classes, doing fine, but never really contributing. she wrote letters to her mother sometimes, even though she could never properly address or send them, but assuring her that someday she would be rescued, someday she'd have her daughter close again and she would be safe. the mistrust of muggles and a general dislike for them only grew larger every year.

when she had graduated from hogwarts, she found her father had left the ministry to support harry potter or well, whatever side it was that was taking a stand against the cruel treatment of mudbloods. ave could not believe it. why would he do such a thing? why would he support and want to protect muggles after one had taken his wife away from him? well, he could be a fool and throw a pity party for the muggles, but she wouldn't be joining him. she decided that she didn't want to deal with mudbloods any longer and once they were rid of the wizarding world would be a better place. so she left home and joined the snatchers. not only would she do justice, but she would also be paid by the ministry. she stopped using her last name, not wanting the snatchers to relate her with her father, since he was supporting the opposing side. and this is how she makes her living, still in denial, snatching as many mudbloods as she is able.
